My birthday present1

Stumbled into this funny little scene in my bedroom a short while ago. Snutte taking a nap in my birthday shelf. My mother has a near identical shelf and my first cat used to lie in that very same spot in hers thirty years ago. I was so happy when I found this piece in a second hand store a few weeks ago, I've been looking for one of these for years and there it was, just waiting for me.
